I visited Gilze Rijen when the apaches

impressive sight when it landed on RWY28. Later visits resulted
in some local based helicopters that posed very nicely in front
of my lens. |

On our second day, the weather
was less good with much more clouds. Flying activity was medium,

in use, afterwards they switched to RWY08, which gave some
variation in the pictures. |
|
 |
Wittmund - 25/05/2010
As the end of the phantoms is approaching
fast, we made a 1200km trip again and headed back to Wittmund
to enjoy the sound of the J79 engines. On our first day, flying
was good, and even the weather was nice. In the evening we
tried something else and went a bit further in the approach
to have some banking shots. |
