Cambrai - Tigermeet

On Friday only one mission was flown
in the afternoon. Again a nice mix of clouds and sun which resulted
in nice pictures. There was a new participant added for the
tigermeet missions and that was the Royal Navy Merlin HM.1,
and for the first time the LEGO tornado participated in the
missions. |

On Thursday there was the big tigerformation
to be flown in the morning. So all coloured birds flew. During
the recoveries they all came back in smaler mixed formations
which was very nice. |

: Spottersday 1
On Wednesday of the first week there
was the first of three spottersdays. The weather was perfect
with sun all day long and lots of flying activity. The spottersday
was organised very well and there was a lot of space to move
around and to do our thing. |

Koksijde - NATEVALprep 01
16-20/04/2012
To prepare the NATO evaluation
that the 1W Heli from Beauvechain will have next year in June,
they came to Koksijde to deploy 7 A.109BA helicopter for one
week. They arrived on Monday and from Tuesday on they flew
several missions all day long. Unfortunatly the weather was
bad. To end the excercise, they concluded with a formation
flight with the other helicopters in the Belgian Air Force
inventory. |

Cambrai - Tigermeet 2011
: Arrivals
On Monday of the first week most of
the participants arrived at Cambrai. This was the day that we
could all discover the the new tigershemes for the Nato Tigermeet
2011. Unfortunatly the weather was not so very good with almost
all morning little sun, but around noon the sun came through
the clouds and still some sunny shots could be made.. |

About us
We, Tom and Wim,
live in De Panne (Belgium west-coast), close to Koksijde airbase,
and are passionated by aviation since we were young. In 1998 we
started photographing and visiting airshows and other aviation events
in Belgium and surrounding countries. Since then we created a nice
photocollection of many different aircraft types from around the
world. Living under the approach of Koksijde airbase we can regulary
be found near our "homebase". In 2002 we created the website
of Spotting
Group Koksijde, bringing the local aviation enthousiast
together.
Some of our photographs
have allready been published in magazines (Scramble magazine, Aermacchi
world, Revista Aeronautica, Volare, Airforces Monthly, Combat Aircraft,
...), company publications, aviation websites (www.airliners.net
, www.airshows.be
,...), airshow publications,... High resolution photographs can
be arranged by contacting us via e-mail.

Equipment
Since 2005 we changed
to digital photography. The equipment we use is Canon material enabeling
us to shoot high quality photographs in all ranges and in different
types of weather conditions.
